As a wellness center, we believe the “fuel,” (food) you put in your body contributes to a healthy body. Sadly, in today’s world, it is virtually impossible to “feed” your body’s needs through our everyday diet. Nutrients are essential for our overall well-being and helps the body fight off the rigors of our toxic world.
Our story begins with the late Doctor Ingrid Gower-Martin. She was a physician, M.D., at the Healthy Habite Clinic after leaving her one-year attempt at retirement near Rockwell, S.C. Before her retirement, Doctor Ingrid and her husband, James D. Martin, operated the Nutri Resource Centre in Hartsville, S.C.
Dr. Ingrid loved caring for patients with chronic conditions and caring for people in many other ways as well. She will always be remembered for her expertise and for her kind heart.
Since Dr. Ingrid’s passing, Dr. Martin, in loving memory of his wife, has continued with their health clinic business. He is working to create a MEMORIAL Non-Profit Foundation in Dr. Ingrid’s name.
